Yes. Even in the new "Inspired" book that is used in the service school states in there to encourage all to have a good libuary of the older publications. I encourage this so that many more will know of the past, and learn as to what taught at a certern year. C.T. Russell, for example.

According to the KJV, it says "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years have finished." Rev 20:5. Seeing that everyone since Adam have been born unrightous, we are determined if we are rightous in Gods eyes in our period of time on the day we die. Seeing that not all that have lived have been given an oppertunity to know the Most High God and his purposes for the future, these ones will be included in the ressurection of the "unrighteous" ones- which takes place AFTER the thousand years during when Satan has been "let loosed for a little while". Rev 20:7 Then these ones will have an oppertunity to know that both Satan and the Most High God exists and they have to choose- just like us today- as to whom they want to worship. If they have been proved righteous in the Most High God eyes, they too will go in the book of life.Everyone that is written in the book of life are now dead.-See 1 Cor 15:35-42 and See Rev 20:12+13.1 Cor 15:25+26 tells us that the "last enemy" is death, itself- not Satan. Satan is probebly the second last enemy to be destroyed just before Jesus hands back the earthly kingdom back to his father.-1 Cor 15:26. Once Satan and death has been compleatly destroyed, then the Most high will use his Holy Spirit to ressurect the "righteous" ones that has been compiled and written in the book of life. And it is ONLY at this point that ones can have everlasting life, due to the fact that since death itself has been compleatly destroyed. Rev 20:14+15. Another point to concider is that the scripture in Matt 24:14 does say that that "this good news will be preached in ALL the INHABITED earth for a witness to ALL the nations". Seeing that millions have not been told of the Most High God and the chance of everlasting life (seeing that they have died since Adam), the "end" will have to come AFTER the ressurection of the "unrighteous" ones and have been tested at the end of the "little while". And when it speaks of the "end"- this means the end of Satans existance and after "death is no more". What we have been told by the WTBTS is basicly EVERYTHING will happen during the "thousand years". But the scriptures do not support this way of thinking.

What is now the most accurate Bible to buy??
by WingCommander innow that i've read ray franz's part about how his uncle and others with little actual greek or hebrew training translated the bible into the nwt, i've been interested in finding the best bible out there is correctly translated by people who know what the hell they are talking about.

i've also been looking at other religions lately, ones that are "somewhat" close to the jw's teachings to an extent, and have been interested in seventh day adventists.

I concur with most of what is written on this site, to get as many translations as possable as cross reference them. I managed to get some off E-Bay as well as my local charity and antique shops. No translations today is accerate from the original writings. I found out about a month ago that King James was a Freemason, who perhaps intruduced the name of God as Jehovah instead of Yahweh when he did his translation from latin to olde english. The Freemasons uses the 1633 KJV as a part of their life and used the name Jehovah for hundreds of years as part of their ritules. So, we do not know of what changes he made when his translations were compleated.Many translations today are stems from his translation- including the NWT. (please check out all websites relating to Freemasons.) By using at least 10 different Bibles from different time periods, I found out another Bible prophecy that is recorded in 2 Thess 2- which has been greatly altered in the NWT- which we all are actually living in this prophecy today, and how greatly it affects the WT society, and how it is crumbling with numbers of brothers turning away from the faith. And it also tells us that the few remaining ones will be destroyed apon Jesus arrivial soon for being liers. I encourage all to read these passages in 2 Thess 2.

Is Gods correct name pronounced Jehovah?? What about the messiahs name?
by evergreen ini thought i would ask this question as i have been reading some fascinating information on some other sites as to the correct pronunciation of gods real name?
also for that matter, i ask what jesus proper pronounced name is?.
if you go to another country and tell people your name and instead of calling you your name as you pronounced it, they automatically transliterate it into their own language and call you by the name thay have transliterated it in to; would that annoy you after awhile?

During my absence these past few months, I have done exaustive reserch in the subject of Freemasons after watching the film National Treasure with Nicolas Cage. If anyone wants to know as to where and how the name Jehovah came from, it came from the Freemasons. According to the Freemasons and their traditions, they could have started as far back as the builders in King Solomons time.With the early WT publications that C.T.Russell created, there are Freemason insignias such as the Cross and Crown and the sun god Ra with wings, ect.on the frount of the watchtowers and books. During my research, it seems that King James was ALSO a freemason. The Freemasons actually uses the 1633 KJV bible.He was the one to give autherity to translate the Latin into the Olde English. So, he was in position to make changes any way he wished to- including inserting the name Jehovah for The Most Highs name. Other translations, such as the Autherised Version had to get King James OK to have it released. This is why the NWT today (as well as other translations) has the name Jehovah in it. The Freemasons do have their own supreme being for worship named JAOBULON. JAO is the greek word for Jehovah, BUL is the rendering of the name Baal and ON is the term used in the Babylonian mysterys to call apon the dieity Osiris. I also have a chart where the name Jehovah is laid on the floor with the Skull and Bones as part of one of their ritules. I encourage everyone to look up all information about the Freemasons, as now it has been proven that it is them who is running this world. I even found out that the Watchtower symbol on the books and mags and letterheads are also Freemason imagery. The watchtower symbol is also still used as part of the Freemason Lodge here in England. Hello,PMS. As you know that we have had corrispondance before on several subjects before. I thought that before i close up my AOL, I would visit to see if you are still on this website. And it seems that you are. If you are a dedicated brother or sister, then I would STRONGLY advise you not to be on this website anymore. According to 2 John verse 10, which states "if anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never recieve him into your homes or say a greeting to him." Now according to JW laws, you are in violation of this scripture by allowing yourself to converse with ones that do not bo along with the teachings of the society. Talking to persons that do not believe in some or all of the teachings (that you have learned at the meetings)on the website is allowing them to enter your own home is in violation of the scriptures (according to the teachings). Recently we learned that we should not be "limping on two opinions" in a recent WT article. Conversing with the brothers at the meetings and not talking to "apostates" at the meetings then comming home to talk to "apostates" (ones who do not agree to the teachings that you have been taught) at your home is one who "limps on two opinions" or is a hypocrite. It is very easy to be addicted to sites like these, getting ito conversations on biblical matters. The sites may say that it is for Jehovahs Witnessess to talk about scriptual matters, but looking from a personal scriptual viewpoint, you are like a sheep that has wandered into a pack of wolves- and liking it there. Now, on the matter of the "last days", the scriptures do point out that we are living in this "system of things". The NEXT system of things, as you know, is the 1000 years that Rev 20:6 speaks about. Then Rev 20:7 it states there that "as soon as the thousand years have been ended, Saten will be let loose out of his prision." (for a "little while" verse 3). Seeing that this is to happen AFTER the 1000yrs, then the "last days" will not be finished until satan is compleatly destroyed and the end of the "little while". I STRONGLY encourage you to read Rev 20 a few times to find out what the SCRIPTURES say about the "last days" and see how it differs to what we have been taught all these years. As i have mentioned before that I have created a simple to use chart to see what the SCRIPTURES say about our future events that are soon to take place. the wt still sticks with the 607bce due to the fact that the governing bodys explains that the jews returned back at about 537bce, assuming that they were finished with their bondage.

Dear Scholar.I have done some reserch on the matter of the Jews returning back at around 537BCE returning back to where the first temple was destroyed. It was Ezra that took them back. But we must not forget the OTHER nations that also returned back in their own times.Yet, they ALL were still in bondage. According to history, the Jews were being a bit premature of returning back earlier than the 70 years. When they returned back, they found the Samaritians allready there with some similar smaller religious orders living there. In later years, what was left of the Isrealites also returned, seeing both the Jews and Samaritions argueing over the land. Now there were three or more religious orders argueing over the land. In time, as the scriptures sites, that the foundation was laid under the rule of Cyrus the Mede. And to it was Cyrus that ordered the building work to stop. It was only that Darius that ordered the temple to be completed with ALL the belongings returned. Please read Ezra 6. We kept thinking that due to Ezra returned with the Jews that the captivity had finished. BUT, we all forgot the rest of the nations that were ALSO affected by the captivity. All information is found on Wikipedia- the free encyclopedia. And even though the Jews were given permission to return, they still did not have all the belongings back that Nebuchadnezzar took away from them. It was Darius that gave the belongings back. Not only this, but a decree went out that no one was allowed to hinder the building work or destroy it- not even Darius himself. And as WT DEC 15 2005 page 18 darius ruled from 522BCE and the building work with ALL its belongings returned in 516BCE. And as to the sacrifices that was done apon their return, all of these DIFFERENT religious nations may of done animail sacrifices throughout the 70years due to it was part of their religious customs as part of their worship.

You know, it is intresting to know that the "What does God require Of Us" brochure is being used first before the main book. I have still got the first printing of this brochure, and on the frount cover it has the three persons smiling. But between the two faces below is a pale looking disfigured face hiding between the two persons. I remember when we studided this years ago, the brothers at the group study was guessing at to what it waqs. The second edition released had a different cover- with this "face" removed. I guess at the time all brothers wee asking too many questions as to exactly what it was. Next time I am at the Kingdom Hall, I will find out if this brochure has the same cover. Also, there is more! On page 12, in the upper aura hides 3 demon faces. Hold the page upside down at look at the crease of the white gown- it is really a mouth which the eyes can be found higher up. And last of all, hold a flat mirror against the earth down below along the end of the picture.You should see three more faces. I could go on and on, but this is for now. I might write a book on this subject as there are SO MANY in the publications- and have a yearly update as each watchtower comes out also has these "images" in EVERY issue. Yes, the "son of Destruction" has exposed itself. (Governing Body- NOT FDS)

The "knowladge" book has been under heavy attack due to its been laced with satinic faces and figures. On Ebay it has been reported that on page 35, experts have found over 70 images on the one picture. I have found over 75 so far. CD ROMS have been sent to various heads of state allready with the proof from the subliminal experts. Throughout of the book where drawings have been created do have the satinic faces and images. What people do not know is that this has been going on since (at least) the early 1980s. Every watchtower (that i have seen) has these gruesome imagies bedded in the "nice" drawings. All those who do have a "knowladge" book, see how many you can find. I will start you off. See between Jesus face and the raised disabled mans hand.You will be able to see half of a mans face. Use a flat mirror to see all the face. And also see the top right hand corner, the darkened figure is Satan himself.

There does not seem to be any mention of the "faithful and discreet slave" in the book. What can possably happen is that, depends on how much progress the bible study gets, the earlier the student and teacher can move on to the "knowladge " book. The "faithful and discreet slave" would be mentioned in there.

of course the beast's "number" is "666" -- but that's not it's "name".

Seeing that the "seven heads and ten horns" and when the scripture mentions that "its itself (the wild beast itself) is an eighth king", the "name" of the "wild beast" could be on the lines of "king" or "kingdoms". It could be "kings of kingdoms". Babylon the Great was the name of the "women sitting" on the "wild beast"- and I less doubt that the beast would want to carry on with her name if it is set out to destroy her. It would have to have a different name, a name that all nations do or did look up to. So it could be that "Babylon the Great" has been sitting on Kings of Kingdoms- which she has done throughout the years.
